Zoom Out

My kids are growing up so fast. The truth is every parent steps back from time to time and says the same thing. I think that “stepping back” is an important leadership principle. From time-to-time, we must zoom out to get the type of perspective that reveals nuances that signify growth. Then, we must celebrate! Whether it is the steps someone has taken in their spiritual journey, or the maturing of a spiritual vision; it is difficult to detect what is actually significant growth with the microscopic view of the day-to-day. Today, I am going to step back and applaud what God has done!
